Snapseed, one of the best bits of photo editing software on the iPhone and iPad, has gone free-as-in-Google today, and as some modicum of recompense, added Google+ to its mix. The popular photography app Camera+ by tap tap tap has been updated with several new features, the most interesting one being the addition of a "flash" to the front-facing camera. Obviously, this flash isn't a real flash since that is a hardware piece, but Camera+ now flashes a bright white background onto the screen when taking a photo to simulate using a flash. This is similar to the approach that Apple takes with Photo Booth on the Mac.
Overgram is a gorgeous new photography app that lets you select from a wide range of fonts and customization options to add font to your photos to then share on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, or Tumbler. The user interface is very smooth and intuitive and makes adding text a breeze. You can choose different fonts, sizes, alignment options, and more.

Gridditor is an iPhone and iPad app that lets layer multiple filters to your photos and displays them in a unique way. Gridditor will show you four filters at a time, one in each direction (up, down, left, right), and the farther you move in any direction on the grid, the stronger the effect gets. The gird preview allows you to see the effect of applying multiple filters at once and the randomization of the filters shows you creative possibilities you may not have considered otherwise.
