No Uninstall makes deleting apps from the Home screen impossible [Jailbreak]
No Uninstall is a A jailbreak mod in Cydia that prevents 3rd party apps from being deleted from the Home screen on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch.
This tweak removes the "X" when uninstalling an iPhone app. Good for pranking your friends and preventing accidental app removal.
No Uninstall requires iOS 4 or higher (got that wrong in the video -- sorry!).
You can do this on a stock iPhone via the Restriction Settings, but if you're running an older version of the OS that doesn't support the app deletion restriction -- or you just want to have some fun at a friend's expense -- give No Uninstall a try.

Yes, just as I said in the post, you can do this without jailbreaking, too. We will have another post up detailing that process in the near future as well :)

How do you do it without jailbreak?
I'm going to post another How To (with video) soon about how to use the Restrictions feature to do this without requiring you to jailbreak your iPhone first.
When did they add that to the menus? My iPT 4.2.1 has that option? Who does this apply to?
I can't imagine ever accidentally deleting an app. Nor can I ever imagine allowing anyone else to have possession of my iPhone.
