Apple Pay support reportedly expands to eight more banks and credit units

A new report says that support for Apple Pay has expanded in the US once again to include eight more banks and credit unions.
According to 9to5Mac, the new additions to Apple Pay include
- Security Service Federal Credit Union
- Consumers Credit Union
- Virginia Credit Union
- Cyprus Federal Credit Union
- Fairwinds Credit Union
- Mountain America Credit Union
- Partners Federal Credit Union
- Customers Bank
It adds:
The new card issuers added today follow latest additions, Fremont Bank & NIH Federal Credit Union, added last month. Apple continues to monthly roll out support for additional banks as it works to add the more than 500 US banks it previously said would support the new payments service.
In December, Apple announced that Apple Pay now supports cards that cover the vast majority of the card purchase volume in the US.
