Update: This deal price is now matched at Amazon, though you won't get the free Apple Fitness+ subscription.

Not to be outdone by Amazon taking $100 off the Apple Watch Series 6 yesterday, Best Buy has today kicked off its own sale on the latest Apple wearable offering a $150 discount. The one-day deal not only drops the Series 6 to a new low, but it also bundles in six months of Apple's Fitness+ service for free meaning you're saving a further $60 on that subscription.

We're yet to see if Amazon will offer a price match on the red 40mm model that is still on sale with $100 off there, though the Fitness+ bundle is exclusive to Best Buy. Other Apple Watch Series 6 configurations are also discounted with as much as $80 off their usual prices at Amazon if the red model is not for you.

Apple Watch Series 6 is Apple's newest model, hitting the market last fall. It builds on the success of previous Watch models, maintaining killer features like heart rate monitoring, the ability to take an ECG, fall detection, customizable watch faces, and activity tracking, while also adding some useful new capabilities into the mix.

The Series 6 adds Blood Oxygen monitoring for the first time which allows the wearer to measure the oxygenation level of their blood thanks to the built-in sensor and Series 6-exclusive Blood Oxygen app. The device will also monitor your blood oxygen in the background as you go about your day.

An always-on altimeter is also exclusive to the Series 6 which allows you to understand your current elevation at any moment. If you like to hike, camp, or cycle a lot of hills, it's a handy feature. There's also a new, brighter always-on display which makes it easier to check the time or any other app at a glance, especially outdoors.

Apple's Series 6 runs the new S6 system-in-package which is 20% faster than its predecessor. Despite being faster, battery life is not impacted and you'll get the usual 18-hour battery life meaning you'll get through a whole day per charge.
