Here's what's new in iOS gaming this week!

Every Thursday I go on a quest to find all the notable new games released on the App Store over the week, but instead of taking all the gold and experience for myself, I pass my knowledge on to you! Whether you're looking for new games, games on sale, or wondering if your favorite game got a big update, I'll break down all the notable iOS gaming news for you!

New games of the week

Need something new and shiny? Every week tons of games hit the App Store, and I keep track, so you don't have to; here are the notable releases for this week.

The sequel to the hit game FRAMED is finally here! A film noir inspired comic book adventure, FRAMED 2 is a unique puzzle game with great visuals and a compelling story to boot!

The story is told in comic book form, with panels, but they are all jumbled up, and you'll need to put them in the right order to progress forward.

The comic book art is stunning and all handcrafted, and the mysterious storyline will keep you glued to the game for hours.

Brawl Stars

NOTE: Brawl Stars is currently undergoing a "soft launch" and is only available on the Canadian App Store.

From mega developer Supercell (Clash of Clans and Clash Royale), comes a new, ridiculously fun multiplayer game called Brawl Stars!

Reveal in a surprise live stream tournament yesterday, Brawl Stars is a 3v3 shooter game, where players from all over the world battle in four game modes: Bounty, Smash and Grab, Heist, and Showdown. Players will have the option to choose from multiple characters known as brawlers, and each brawler has a different attack style and super ability.

I was watching the live stream yesterday, and it became quickly apparent that Brawl Stars is going to be an instant hit! If you're looking for colorful multiplayer fun, Brawl Stars is worth a look.

This owl has landed in hell and is having a bad day. It's up to you to help him out!

Travel from chamber to chamber in this slightly silly and somewhat spooky action game and try not to get dismembered horribly. You'll need to defeat demons and enemies to stock up on loot! Once you have enough loot you can trade it in for upgrades. Egg rockets and egg bombs will help you destroy those hellish demons even faster!

Mr. Future Ninja

You're the last free member of your ninja clan, and an evil corporation has the plan to experiment on your enslaved clan members. What are you going to do?

Mr. Future Ninja is a stealth-action game that has you controlling a purple ninja trying to save his clan. The visuals are beautiful, and the gameplay is a unique blend of action and puzzle as you travel across the level throwing shurikens to defeat enemies and open doors.

The futuristic style of the visuals and the soundtrack lend a hand in creating a pretty entertaining game!

Games on sale this week

Good things come to those who wait! Every week games go on sale, and you can take advantage of significant savings. Here are the notable deals of this week.

Hidden Folks

Hidden Folks is an amazingly crafted puzzle game that strives for simplicity and succeeds with flying colors. Plus, you can grab it for only $1.99!

Finding everything on each level is quite the challenge, and Hidden Folks will make you flex your brain power to figure out certain hints that accompany each findable person or object.

The hand-drawn art is as charming as it is impressive and you'll spend just as much time looking around each level enjoying the design as you will squinting your eyes trying to find Beekeeper Barry.

Beat Stomper

For casual game fans, Beat Stomper has been a treasure trove of entertainment, and this week the game is free!

Music, neon lights, and a geometric square are all this game needs to get you in the groove. You'll need to jump and stomp from platform to platform without falling, all while listening to the heavy hitting beats of some energetic EDM.

I dare you to play this game without dancing!

Luke's game of the week.

Monument Valley 2

With a surprise release during the WWDC 2017 keynote, Monument Valley 2 is the sequel to the critically acclaimed game Monument Valley, developed by ustwo games.

If you loved the first Monument Valley, the second one gives you everything you loved about the puzzle game; beautiful 3D puzzles that are challenging and force you to change your perspective, an eerie but gorgeous soundtrack that adds to the overall experience, and a compelling story that's told with very few words.

Monument Valley 2 isn't just a re-hash of the old game, as it throws in new mechanics for the player to deal with, including controlling two characters at once.
