Enpass is a full-featured cross-platform password manager, which has seen the official app for iPhone and iPad updated to version 5.0. This latest release introduces a number of new features, including a refreshed user interface, Spotlight search, 3D Touch, split view and more. If you're a fan of the app, you're going to love what the development team have added in 5.0.

The team at Enpass has refreshed the UI in version 5.0, making the experience more seamless and intuitive with rounded icons and colors really adding to the overall look and feel. Implemented Spotlight search allows users to locate entries without delay, while 3D Touch allows the app to detect how firm you press the screen to show a quick action menu. (Note that this is for the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus only.)

iPad owners can take advantage of Slide Over support in version 5.0, which will allow you to slide your finger from the right-hand side of the screen to have Enpass open up in the sidebar. There's also Split View, just in case you wish to really ramp up the multitasking capabilities of Enpass. Next up on the list are improvements made to the Safar extension, and those on iOS can have the app auto-fill forms just as you would on the desktop.

Some more notable features include:

  • Saving new entries from outside the Enpass app
  • Editing Enpass entries from the extension
  • Change categories and field reordering

Give the latest version of Enpass a download from the App Store. It's free so there's really no reason not to try it out. As a side note, the company recently refreshed its Mac and PC offering, so be sure to check out that blog post for more details.
