Google Wallet now lets you send and receive money with text messages

A new update to Google Wallet for iOS eliminates the need to use an email address when sending money. Users will be able to send money to anyone in their contacts list with a phone number via text message.

When sending money with a text, your contact will receive a secure link. After tapping the link, they can enter their debit card information to claim the money, which will then appear in their bank account in a few short minutes.

If you'd like to try sending some money to a friend or family member by phone number, you can check the feature out with the latest Google Wallet update at the App Store link below.
