iMAME4all is a Jailbreak app for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch that emulates arcade games supported by the original MAME (Multiple Arcade Machine Emulator) version 0.37b5. In simple terms, it allows you to play over 2000 retro arcade games on your iOS device, as long as you can find the ROM’s of the games.
As of today, you can download version 1.7 of iMAME4all that will enable iMAME4all to work with the iCade cabinet. That’s right, you can now use that expensive iCade cabinet you bought for some real old school retro arcade fun! The best way to use the two is in full screen portrait mode.
This is an awesome way to enjoy MAME and if you are a real old school arcade lover, it’s simply a superb combination. The latest version has not filtered through to the Cydia store as of yet. If you can't wait, there is a DEB file which you can manually install. I just wish I could get my hands on an iCade in the UK for a reasonable price!
