Description: Somewhat more solid than Gastly or Haunter, Gengar has a round body with stumpy arms and legs. It is purple all over, and has spikes atop its head and down its back. Its red eyes and large mouth are almost alway expressing sinister amusement, as Gengar love to trick and torment those they come across. Gengar are capable of sinking into shadows, where they stalk their victims with ease. They take great pleasure out of scaring people and Pokémon alike, but are also fiercely loyal to those who treat them well. Because they only evolve by being Traded, very few Gengar can be found in the wild.
Capable of Mega Evolution, Mega Gengar's body is shaped more like Haunter's but with arms and more exaggerated spikes. It gains a third eye which is mostly yellow, and dark, magenta energy eminates from its hands, tail, and lower body. Gengar can also Gigantamax into a form that is mostly mouth and tongue. Gigantamax Gengar's body sinks into the ground, while it's mouth expands into a giant cavern from which a long, deadly tongue lashes out. This mouth is rumored to lead directly into the afterlife, a deathly trap for any Gigantamax Gengar can capture within. It has even been said that those standing close to its mouth can hear the voices of their deceased loved ones!
