Description: Shaped roughly like a bat, Lunala retains far more of the nebulous bluish purple that made up the body of its previous stages than its masculine counterpart, Solgaleo. Most of its body and wings are bluish purple, framed by the remnants of Cosmoem's metallic gold shell and bits of white. Lunala also has a light blue light at its core, bright pink eyes, and a face that still contains the star sprinkled, night sky. The gold that frames its face is shaped like a crescent moon, as is the gold around its wings and tail.
Having another forme, Lunala occasionally enters its Full Moon Phase. While in Full Moon Phase, Lunala's wings and body stretch out and turn pale blue. A third eye opens in the center of its forehead, shaped more like the symbol of an eye than an actual eye. Dark clouds of energy spiral around Full Moon Phase Lunala, giving it the appearance of a full moon in a cloudy night sky.
Honored by the people of Alola since ancient times as the emissary of the moon, Lunala is also known as the "Beast who Calls the Moon". It lives in another world entirely, spending almost all of its time in Ultra Space. It can open up Ultra Wormholes and, along with its masculine counterpart, Solgaleo, can create new Cosmog. Althought it is referred to as the feminine evolution of Cosmoem, Lunala is genderless like most Legendary Pokémon. Capable of absorbing any light, Lunala can make it pitch black even in the middle of the day. When it spreads its wings to absorb light, the glittering of the light against its dark purple body looks like the night sky.
