Sonic Jump gets updated, adds characters, doubles the big boss battles

Sonic Jump, where everyone's hyper-speed hedgehog switches from side scroller to vertical leaper, has been updated today to version 1.2 which includes more boss battles, two new characters, new gameplay mechanics, as well as some graphics and bug fixes.
According to Sega, Dr. Eggman has taken over Act 6, ensuring the big boss battles are double what they used to be. To help make up for it, Sonic's friends Silver and Rouge have shown up, each with their own unique abilities, and they're unlockable now as part of the game. There are also new diagonal springs, swings, and more to shift the challenge, and the fun, into even higher gear.
Looks like Sonic fans are in for some happy, and hectic, holidays. If you already own Sonic Jump, head on over to the App Store and grab the update. If you don't, check it via the link below.
