It wasn't free when i got it a couple of years ago... Damn it !!
-
My question is...Will it only stream on my home network? If I am in another city but connected to WiFi will it still stream? Description in App Store didn't say.
-
Dont work with DirecTV
-
Streams just fine over 3G for me on my iPhone 4 and iPad 1. :-D
BUT, after about 5 minutes, it lost the video portion and went to audio only, stating "due to limited bandwidth, audio only is available" I've a feeling this is an AT&T throttling thing, not a CNN issue. I get that same message on most video streaming services except YouTube and Netflix (but Netflix does get a crappy picture after a while). -
I should say though, much better luck using the iPad 1 than iphone. iPhone still stops after 5 min saying "limited bandwidth, audio only" While my ipad only lost audio (not video) once, but fine otherwise. both my iPhone 4 data plan and iPad data plan are unlimited (grandfathered hehehe).

AT&T Isn't throttling your device, you're crazy. It's called living in a crappy or working in a crappy cell area. I live in So Cal, I can stream fine over 3G with every video app i have. Your network by you is just one big turd

Has it not always done this?
-
It's always streamed live breaking news...
-
I hate that I have to have a cable subscription (which I don't). It'd be nice if they offered a subscription via in in-app purchase where I could re-up every 3 to 6 months, but I know that won't happen.
-
I love it. HBO's GO app, ESPN, and now CNN all have their app that does exactly that. And no, this is U.S. only. CNN Int'l is the most you'll ever get outside of the U.S.
-
How is this news? I used this App months ago to watch live coverage of the Japan earthquake/tsunami.
-
C'mon Time Warner, seriously?! Another app you don't offer to your paying subscribers...
-
If I wanted to watch crap, I'd go to my bathroom and watch myself flush the toilet after a dump.
-
Doesn't work with Time-Warner even though TW owns CNN!! Same with HBO-GO. Ugh.

I'm LOVING the new CNN iPhone and iPad apps! It's not just CNN but also HLN, the Headline News Network with its own programming. I heart you, CNN.
