Hahaha the storm is an epic fail of a phone. Ive had multiple goes with them. they fail in almost every regard. what kind of retard did they let loose at Rim to get them to design a phone like that. you see Storm the Minor issues is actually a major issue....its the Blackberry Storm. it does look rather nice though I will say but its so annoying to use. they never did anything better than the Bold. I dont think they will for a long time...would be nice if it had better buttons and battery life though.

cruz1022 Obviously you haven't been informed about the software updates for the Storm .Almost every issue has been fixed .Remaining issues are very minor and most would say not noticeable. If you have an iphone that's cool but at the present time without any doubt the Storm is a more well rounded handheld .It was just stupid of RIM to release it before it was ready just for the holidays .

I have to admit the Storm was released buggy BUT so did the iphone .Now that RIM has worked out 95 percent of those bugs and with the latest update mine works perfect.People buy the iphone simply for the buzz because we know its not for the crappy and expensive AT&T service. All you iphoners need to know the Storm out performs the iphone and can do so much more like "tethering, stereo bluetooth, integrated email, removable battery, removable upgradeable memory, copy and paste and the best coverage network verizon .Verizon also has 4g network starting in 2010 .The Blackberry app store starts this month. The one thing the Storm does not have is wifi and that is not a Storm issue its all Verizon there .My final thought is to each his own if you want to be in the iphone gang or the Blackberry gang it all depends on your needs.

We people that use this website KNOW the truth of both phones. But if you watch this commercial, and you just want the latest and "best" technology and you see this commercial. It will make you wanna get a blackberry storm. IMO

It's a great marketing commercial and I wish it would have played during the superbowl hah, I still think that the competition of RIM that you should compare the iPhone with is the Bold and 8900 for now even if they aren't touch screen. The Storm is nowhere near where it should be and has a LOOOOONGS way to go.

Pretty good, but certainly not real. Maybe RIM can expand on this idea.

I got to try out a Storm for the first time the other day when a co-worker got one, first person I know who has one. I've seen them around but never tried it and the demo unit at Best Buy is non-functional.

Me trying to use the Storm was like Zoolander trying to get the files out of his agent's computer. First thing I noticed right off the bat, the clicking screen mechanism feels cheap and mushy. It wasn't a solid click and the screen seemd to wiggle around a bit, and there certainly was almost no audiable clicking sound.

Not only that, but the touch screen didn't seem accurate when I was moving my finger across it and trying to type. Maybe that had something to do with how slow it seemed to respond to my inputs and motions.

Maybe it's just that I'm so used to the iPhone's hella responsive screen that the clicking thing on the Storm just makes things too hard for me.

Firstly this wasn't an ad created by RIM. Secondly, posting an article with the title and description as above only serves to fan fanboy fanatacism

First of all let me start by saying I'm an Iphone owner coming from having BBs for the past few years. All I can say is I'm glad I switched. I will admit I went to test the Storm out and I completely did not like that button feel. I was trying to figure out what it reminded me of and now I know what you can compare it to. If some of you guys are old enough to remember the old Texas Instruments calculators that taught you addition subtraction multiplication and division! It felt just like when I was pushing those buttons 25 years ago. All I can say is good luck with that. LOL.

Why do other phone manufactures think that talking down the iPhone and apple while unsucesfully copying the very thing tthey try to rip apart is a good idea. Why don't they try to get it right first then praise apple while showing that they can do it better. Assuming that someone can.
