iPad vs. Kindle vs. Nook -- which one's better for you?

Adding support to an earlier rumor concerning a January Apple event, Alexia Tsotsis of TechCrunch claims it's indeed happening and will focus on iBooks and publishing.

The event will unveil improvements to the iBooks platform, according to the same source, and is not “major.”
