Founded by Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak in Jobs' garage and incorporated on January 3, 1977, Apple has gone on to become one of the most influential and valuable companies in the world. Apple's current leadership includes Tim Cook, the CEO, Jony Ive, svp of design, Phil Schiller, SVP of world wide marketing, Craig Federighi, SVP of software engineering, Eddy Cue, SVP of services, Angela Ahrendts, SVP of online and retail stores, Dan Riccio, SVP of hardware engineering, Jeff Williams, SVP of operations, and Bruce Sewell, senior vice president and general council.

Apple's current headquarters is at 1 Infinite Loop in California, though they've grown to encompass a vast array of buildings surrounding the area. They're currently constructing Campus 2, a huge, spaceship ring of a building on the old HP lot.

Apple events include the annual World Wide Developer Conference, hosted at Moscone West in June, and iPhone- and iPad/Mac centric events recently hosted in September and October of each year.
