London based Metallica fans, listen up. Drummer Lars Ulrich will be making an appearance at the UK flagship Apple Retail Store this week on October 3, talking about the new movie based around the band, Metallica: Through the Never.

Metallica drummer Lars Ulrich discusses the incredible new 3D motion picture event, Metallica: Through the Never. The music-driven feature film combines a bold narrative and spectacular live performance footage of one of the most popular and influential rock bands in history. Emerging young star Dane DeHaan (The Place Beyond the Pines, The Amazing Spider-Man 2) portrays Trip, a young roadie sent on an urgent mission during Metallica’s roaring live set in front of a sold-out arena.

^ I care...Metallica kicks ass...and the tie in is that Metallica for years hated their music being pirated, thus, the support for music selling services like iTunes and others.

*le sigh* one, I wish I was there and two.....all this Metallica hatred for them trying new things and doing things they want to do. Btw, autocorrect autocapitalizes Metallica.

Might be cool if the dude could keep his mouth shut for more than 3 minutes.....long enough for me to introduce something to him, called a click track. This something he sorely needs seeing how he can't keep time worth a chit live.

Might be a cool event to be at. But it'd be a lot cooler were it the whole band, possibly playing a few classics. Either way, wish I was there.
