Logitech took the wraps off a new case for the full-sized iPad that features a built-in keyboard. The FabricSkin Keyboard Folio for iPad will go on sale in May for $150.

Peripheral maker Logitech has long sold gaming products for PC gamers - mice, keyboards, game controllers and headphones - and recently grouped the products more formally under the "Logitech G" brand. Logitech's new G lineup includes six redesigned mice and keyboards which hit store shelves later this month. Now Logitech has announced Mac support for them.

Logitech will soon allow you to control your entire home entertainment system from your iPhone using its new Harmony Smart Control system. Centered around a small black box called the Harmony Hub that connects to up to eight devices through Wi-Fi, the Harmony Smart Control lets users control their television, sound system, game console and media players using Logitech’s iOS app.

Logitech announces Ultrathin Keyboard for the iPad Mini

Meet the Logitech Ultrathin Keyboard mini, the little brother to the same keyboard/case combo we've enjoyed on the full-size iPad.

The Ultrathin Keyboard uses the same magnetic setup as a Smart Cover when serving as a case, providing a pretty significant shell over the iPad's display. Flip it over and slide the iPad into the groove and it becomes a Bluetooth keyboard. Obviously this one will be smaller than the full-size version, so we'll just have to see how much the difference cramps our style (and our typing). Logitech expects the Ultrathin Keyboard Mini to be available in the U.S. and Europe sometime this month. It'll retail for $79.99.

Logitech is well known for its range of Harmony universal remote controls and now it has announced one which will give you all the control you need; using your iPad, iPhone or iPod touch. Instead of using an ugly dongle or case, this uses a WiFi enabled receiver which converts the input received from your iOS device into an infrared output to you home theater kit. Well known peripheral manufacturer Logitech has announced a couple of new accessories for the iPad and iPad 2, a new take on the keyboard and a joystick for gaming. The keyboard fits to the rear of the iPad when not in use. When you need it, it folds out and reveals a full size QWERTY keyboard.
