Steve Jobs was definitely kind of a jerk. Lol.

Thanks for posting the interview videos. Very well done.

Is it ok to say negative things about this guy yet? Frankly, I have to agree he was a jerk. A smart jerk, but a jerk never the less.
Of course I'll be flamed for that so let me get my fire suit on. -
I haven't (obviously) read the biography yet, or even watched all of the videos above (yet), but I don't agree with you. Everyone has flaws, even Steve Jobs. Maybe he has even bigger flaws than most of us, mainly because he has more of (some of) the good qualities than most of us. I'm not saying he's a better person than us but it's obvious that he's got something that we don't, otherwise your or me would've founded Apple and not him.

He probably wouldn't have liked you either, that is if he could be bothered having an opinion about you.

Thx for setting me straight on that. And to think I was worried what a super greedy man, who even refused his own childs paternity, would think of me.

Yep I'm worried how in my meager existence, I who give to charitable causes & volunteer my self at United Way w/ my children, stack up to that greedy man.

I keep listening to the retrops lecture about getting boundless online grant applications so I have been looking around for the most excellent site to get one. Could you tell me please, where could i get some?

Requires flash....how ironic. Not downloading a seperate app just to see this.

I went to high school with Jobs. He turned out fascinatingly successful in business. But remember, no amount of success can compensate for failure in the home. Try to keep it in perspective.

Your comment implies something that doesn't seem true. He also had a successful family if you listen to these videos. His wife and kids loved him, and just as importantly respected him. His daughter from an earlier relationship reconciled with him quite some time ago - she attended his wedding over 20 years ago. He respected THEIR privacy - some might say obsessively.
