Angela Ahrendts joining Apple next week

We've known for a very long time that Angela Ahrendts would be joining Apple in 2014. She's been the CEO of Burberry since 2006, but is joining Apple as SVP of Retail. Just last week we reported that Ahrendts was stalling her move to Apple to get a larger payout. Right now during during Apple's Q2 2014 earnings call we learned that Ahrendts is joining Apple next week.
Angela Ahrendts was graduated with an undergraduate degree in Merchandising and Marketing from Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana. After graduating she worked her way through various fashion companies. In 1998 she joined Fifth & Pacific Companies as a vice president. There she oversaw brands like Lucky Jeans, Liz Claiborne and others. In 2006 she joined Burbery where she shortly became CEO.
Her move to Apple was announced in mid-October 2013. Ahrendts will join Apple next week as Senior Vice President of Retail and Online Stores.
