Apple has sent out official notices to the recipients of its WWDC scholarships. These scholarships are awarded to full and part-time students, along with members or alumni of STEM organizations. Recipients, who must be at least 13 years old, will receive a ticket to Apple's 2016 Worldwide Developers Conference.

From recipient Amit Kalra on Twitter (via 9to5Mac):

The company awarded 350 scholarships, offering travel assistance to 125 recipients. Applicants were required to submit an app that they had worked on that demonstrated "creative use of Apple technologies."

WWDC 2016 will take place in San Francisco from June 13-14. It is expected to see the unveiling of iOS 10, OS X 10.12, and more.
