Apple is preparing to open two new retail stores in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The first is in Abu Dhabi and the second in Dubai. Both retail outlets are expected to host grand opening ceremonies on October 29 and will mark the next step for Apple to push through in the region.
The Dubai store located inside the Mall of the Emirates, Al Barsha will open at 4 p.m. on the day, while Abu Dhabi's store in Yas Mall, Yas Island will follow suit at 7 p.m.
The opening of the two new stores follows Apple enduring a lengthy process to be exempted from region ownership laws, which will enable the company to effectively manage its operations.
