Apple releases small Bluetooth update for its brand new MacBook

Apple has released a small software update for its brand new MacBook, released just this morning. The software makes small improvements to Bluetooth compatibility.

From Apple (opens in new tab):

The Bluetooth update for MacBook (Retina, 12-inch, Early 2016) improves compatibility with third party bluetooth devices, and is recommended for all users.

The update weighs in at 157.8MB, and can be downloaded directly from Apple right now.

  • Steve would have never let this happen.
  • i have an early 2015 12" macbook. Is this update for mine as well or just the 12" macbook released today? BTW I was worried when I heard they updated the model as I just bought this in February, but the minor spec bump doesn't make me feel like I am missing much at all...especially considering what I use it for (work stuff and some small CS:GO sessions) and the fact they didn't add any more ports.
