On stage at the iPhone event in Cupertino, Apple CEO, Tim Cook, has just announced that just next month Apple will ship the 700 millionth iOS device. Back in January on an earnings call, Cook announced 500 million devices shipped, so those with a keen math head will deduce 200 million this year since then.
The numbers cover all iOS devices, but make no mistake. That's an impressive rate.
