Apple starts readying iPhone 6s and 6s Plus pre-orders for shipment

We're now just a week out from the new iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus landing in the hands of customers, and Apple has started getting ready to ship things out in ernest. Customer cards have started being charged and order statuses have started ticking over to "Preparing for Shipment."
The change in shipping status indicates that Apple has started sending iPhone 6s and 6s Plus units to distributions centers where they'll eventually make their way to customers' hands. If you happened to get your pre-order in early, your new iPhone should be on its way soon enough. We'll keep you updated when that happens, as well as when customers start receiving their new iPhones.
