Apple's first store in Queens, New York will open on Saturday, July 11

Apple will open its retail store in Queens, New York on Saturday, July 11. The store will be located in the Queens Center mall at 90-15 Queens Boulevard, and will open at 10 a.m. EDT.

This will be the company's first store in Queens, and its eighth in New York City overall. It joins stores at 5th Avenue, SoHo, Grand Central Station, the Upper West Side, and West 14th Street, along with its most recent store at 940 Madison Avenue, opened just last month. Apple is also said to be planning to open its first retail store in Brooklyn, as well.
