Apple's mapping vans will hit streets in France and Sweden during August

Apple's mapping vehicles will be hitting more European streets in August, including locations in France and Sweden. The mapping vans will start driving in both countries either on or after August 1:

France:Île-de-France - Hauts-de-Seine, Paris (1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th, 13th, 14th, 15th, 16th, 17th, 18th, 19th, 20th), Seine-Saint-Denis, Val-de-MarneSweden:Skåne County - MalmöStockholm County - Stockholm (Bromma, Enskede-Årsta-Vantör, Farsta, Hägersten-Liljeholmen, Hässelby-Vällingby, Kungsholmen, Norrmalm, Rinkeby-Kista, Skarpnäck, Skärholmen, Spånga-Tensta, Södermalm, Älvsjö, Östermalm)

The vans, which collect data that will be used to improve Apple Maps, have already been collecting data in several U.S. states, as well as other locations in Europe. Vans will continue to collect data in these locations throughout August.
