Arem Duplessis departs New York Times Magazine for Apple

Arem Duplessis, design director at the New York Times Magazine, has decided to leave that position for a one as a creative director on Apple's internal marketing team. Duplessis said that while's he's enjoyed his current position, he's ready for a new challenge, according to Mediabistro:
I’ve been at The New York Times Magazine for almost ten years. I have worked with some of the smartest people on the planet and it’s been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. I feel very fortunate to have been able to experience such a great gig. With that said, it’s time for a new chapter and a new challenge.
Duplessis' new position will put him under Phil Schiller, Apple's Senior Vice President of Worldwide Marketing. No details have been given about what his specific responsibilities at Apple will be. Duplessis starts in his new position in February.
