AT&T expands its BOGO offer to include iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus

AT&T has expanded its BOGO (Buy One, Get One) free phone offer to include a number of phones, including the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus.

AT&T says (opens in new tab) that customers must add a new line to get this BOGO offer. The first phone can be purchased with any of the AT&T Next plans, while the second phone must be purchased with either an 30-month AT&T Next agreement or EIP (Equipment Installment Plans) 24. Customers will receive bill credits over 30 months, up to $695. The two phones must be from the same manufacturer. The promo offer ends on June 30.

  • That's terrible. Bill credits? Do companies have to complicate things so much? How about just doing what most retailers do, you buy something and the other item is free of charge, at that time. Sent from the iMore App

  • Well jblank, this is probably to prevent customers from taking advantage of the deal and cancelling the new line if they were to have gotten it free right away. You'd be surprised how many of those people are out there waiting to take advantage a great deal like this.
  • Ok, but if you set up the line, they could always add a stipulation for the BOGO that the devices must be returned upon cancellation. Seems like it might be a rather simple and fair way of dealing with people that want to act in a fraudulent manner.
  • Boy I would love to live in your world.
  • ?
  • What I think they mean is that there could be a stipulation added that the phone must be returned upon cancellation, but what is to prevent the customer from keeping it anyway. Sent from the iMore App
  • According to the press release, the iPhone is not a part of this promo. Posted via the iMore App for Android
