Variety is reporting today that Christian Bale is in talks to play Steve Jobs in Aaron Sorkin's upcoming biopic on the Apple co-founder. The film is based on Walter Isaacson's 2011 biography, simply titled "Steve Jobs."
Leonardo DiCaprio was originally reported to be considering the role, but it seems that he has passed on the opportunity.
The film will be directed by Danny Boyle, and is described as taking place over the course of three long scenes, each showing Jobs backstage before iconic product announcements.
