Turkish Apple Store

As expected, Turkey's first Apple Store has opened at Zorlu Center in Istanbul. The glass-clad store, topped with an Apple logo and surrounded by fountains, was first seen a few days ago on Instagram, however yesterday marked its official opening.

Photos from the grand opening show two levels of product demo areas beneath the new store's ornate exterior. The store is also reported to include two Genius Bars and a "family room."

Apple CEO Tim Cook tweeted a photo of the store surrounded by crowds of visitors and employees, along with his thanks in Turkish.
