iOS 8.2 beta 4 now available for download

Apple has released the fourth beta version of iOS 8.2 for those involved in the iOS 8 beta program. The update is available over the air, and should soon be available from the Apple Developer Center (opens in new tab).

To download the update over the air, simply go to Settings > General > Software Update on a device already taking part in the beta process for iOS 8.2.

  • You can't do it without your device's UDID being enrolled in the developer program one way or another.

You can register it here for 5 $. After 30 sec your iphone is developer registered.
  • did you try it? did it work?
  • Do you actually want to register your phone in an illegal way? Do t you think that might backfire? Sent from the iMore App
  • This isn't a public beta. If you're not a developer you shouldn't be downloading it.
  • Yes you can. It's simple but I don't think I can tell you the process. Simply Google it. I've done this before on iOS 7. Posted via the iMore App for Android
  • I'm on 8.2 right now and when I check OTA it says I am up to date. Anyone else having this issue ? Sent from the iMore App

  • Waiting for 8.3!! Rumor has it that it is going to let you customize your phone to a degree never before attempted!! Then I woke up......
  • LOL!! ^^
  • Guess I'll check the site to see what the changes are.
  • Hope Safari crashes will be fixed this time around... there are several websites which keeps crashing in Safari far too many times which is very unlike Apple. Fingers crossed. Sent from the iMore App
  • Awesome!
  • Lots of issues! Wi-Fi issues, facebook not working much on it, very slow downloads from app store regardless of Wi-Fi or data. Very fast battery drain on 6 Plus and slow charging even with 12v charger. Wow. I'm irritated. Sent from the iMore App
  • Same here... Wifi very inconsistent. Not picking up nearest router in my home. Facebook slows to a crawl. Problem did not exist in previous 8.2 betas. Resetting network settings did not help grrrrrrr.....
  • I swear I think Apple disabled fat charging on the 6 Plus with this beta. Can anyone confirm?? Sent from the iMore App
  • It never had fast charging.
  • Interestingly, Apple seems to have also stealthily released (to developers) beta 4 for Xcode 6.2 with SDK for iOS 8.2 with WatchKit.
  • Facebook running under 8.2b4 doesn't load graphics. But only sometimes. Deleting and reinstalling doesn't fox the issue. Neither did the Facebook update that came out today. Bit of a bummer :-/
  • And only sometimes - now it's fine. Doesn't matter either on wifi or cellular.
  • Disregard. Fix is not working...
  • I've just used http://iosreg.com to register my UDID ready for iOS 9 beta. Very cheap (£3.99) and was done before I got redirected back to their site from PayPal! Check them out if you need your UDID registering
  • Just got iOS 9 on my iPhone thanks to the UDID Registration from https://activatemybeta.com/
