Apple continues to expand the number of cities in which it offers transit directions in Maps, having just added directions for Portland, Oregon. It should now be easier to find a bus ride to your next destination.
Transit originally arrived in Maps with the launch of iOS 9 and OS X El Capitan. Initially launching in a handful of cities, including New York, London, and Mexico City, Maps added more cities to its list in October 2015 with Sydney, Australia and Boston, and recently expanded directions to Austin, Texas, and Montreal, Canada.
You can now find transit directions in the following territories:
