Tim Cook plays coy with Apple Car rumors, says we'll need to wait for news

At Apple's recent shareholder's meeting, CEO Tim Cook was asked about the company's rumored car project. Joking that he probably "should have called on someone else," Cook said that we'd have to wait for some time before the company said anything about such a project.

From Business Insider:

Do you remember when you were a kid, and Christmas Eve, it was so exciting, you weren't sure what was going to be downstairs? Well, it's going to be Christmas Eve for a while.

Apple has been rumored to be working on some sort of car project for a while now, though it isn't clear at this point what form it will take. The company was reportedly targeting a ship date as soon as 2019, and has already taken meetings with regulators regarding self-driving vehicles.
