As usual, Apple looking to restrict retail employee vacation time in September

Apple has predictably blacked out September holidays for retail employees. This is a busy back-to-school season, and with any luck, patrons will be able to pick up an iPhone 6. The vacation restrictions are being spotted in Germany, and are likely to be applied elsewhere in Europe, if not worldwide.

Apple and their retail partners have done this sort of thing in many Septembers past: 2013, 2012, 2011 and so on. There's no real surprise here. It would be nice to know which weeks are being blacked out to get a more precise idea of when we might see a new device drop, but even then, it's just a busy time of year regardless what's new.
