iPad Chair by Elite Home Theater Seating now available

Do you sometimes struggle trying to find the perfect iPad position when on the couch or sitting in your favorite chair? Elite Home Theater Seating has a solution for you - the iPad Chair!

With the Luxa2 H4 iPad holder firmly securing the remarkable device in its tight grasp with its 6 rubber pins, you can now wield the power of the iPad in total relaxation with both hands free. The holder slides into the existing cupholder of the Elite HTS chair, and can then swivel and pivot 360 degrees. In addition, the iPad can be rotated vertically or horizontally, and can even be positioned flat like a table. Like malleable modeling clay, a dynamic mechanical joint hinge holds any position, and delivers all the pivoting action.

On the surface, it seems the iPad chair is nothing more than a normal fancy chair with a special attachment for the cup holder that holds the iPad. This is not the case. The chair itself is designed to provide optimum comfort while using the iPad, specifically in the head rest, back, and arm rests. The only thing that would make this chair better, would be an extendable attachment so that the ipad could be positioned in front of the user for more comfortable typing. The current design is awesome for everything else.

Starting at $2495.00 per chair for the Standard Package, I won't be rushing to pick one up, but it's fun to dream, right? What about you? Are considering adding this piece of furniture to your entertainment room at home? If so, please invite me over for dinner!

Check out the video after the break!

Apple's latest iPad ad is... magically delicious!
  1. Jason P says:

The android model will be a bean bag chair featuring a plush cup holder, and a lotion pocket.

  2. DavidVlogs says:

Fancy video was fancy. The chair seems nice in a living room setting where you might be watching TV and using the iPad on the side, but without being able to center the iPad in front of you, it doesn't seem all that great for the iPad itself. Looks comfy enough though.

  3. Jerry G says:

Looks like the command seat in a Galaxy-Class starship. Engage!

  4. (Copy of) Dev says:

Thomas Tusser had a good take on this: http://bit.ly/cHJiax

  5. Daddy Warbucks says:

What an epic waste of time and money.

  6. cardfan says:

If you need a custom chair like this for an ipad, then you blew it.

  7. 2balls says:

I just rest my iPad against my Wang and it's great

  8. Tebow says:

@2balls.. is that like a little kick stand, like the EVO?

  9. fastlane says:

When are people going to discover that headrests never touch anyone's head? Why do these things even exist?

  10. Tracy says:

Great review! What an awesome chair...great for multi tasking between the iPad and the HDTV with some booming surround sound. All I need to do in convince my wife that its a great investment too. Maybe buying two would do the trick!

  11. I didn't say it. says:

I agree, the iPad should be on some sort of extend-able mounting arm that can swing out right in front of the person. Also, they positioned the cup holder right below the iPad mount. What's up with that? Waste of money really..

  12. AlexLovesStaudts says:

The rubber-grip mechanism will also work for me when I get my Andro-Pad later this year. But yes, this is wasting a perfectly good cup holder, so you will have the epic decision of beer vs. pad.

  13. Yobad says:

If I was rich I would buy one just so I could pretend that I was the captain of a star cruiser or something. Haha

  14. Tebowmania says:

    Wow everyone will buy this

  15. Jerry G says:

    @I didn't say it,

There's a cup holder on both armrests. :)

  16. Confused says:

I think I'd rather take my $2500 and go buy a Lazy Boy, a 52" HDTV, and surround sound system. Then put the extra $500 back in my pocket and watch TV like a normal person.

  17. iTrevor says:

@yobad-great idea! Just get the LCARS clock app and it can be just like on TNG or Voyager when they use stuff in the armrests.
