TiPb on ABC 15 talking Verizon iPhone

Right before the Verizon iPhone announcement this morning Rene jumped on ABC 15 Arizona with Kirk Yuhnke to preview the event. Of course we all know how it turned out now but wouldn't it have been funny if he'd been spectacularly wrong and Verizon ended up announcing another Kin instead?!

Video after the break!

Nice I missed this morning because I was working so I'm glad I got to see it. Looking forward to the podcast tomorrow now for sure. I still find it funny that I can watch this on my droid x while most if your users can't watch from their device because of this stupid flash crap.

  2. Hung Well says:

TV is a wonderful thing but some people are better suited for radio.

  3. Name Error 404 says:

Nice Rene! Too bad they kind of rushed you. Glad to see the sites I visit get more recognition and mainstream coverage. You guys have been a good source of info for me with my girlfriend's new iPhone and my new Mac Mini.

  9. Simon says:

LOL... the Anchor made reference to this site as titb.com

Our Rene is a celebrity!! Time to post a pic of him as a Celebrity carrying an iphone like our neighbours over at crackberry... ;)

  10. Drew says:

i like how he said t-i-p-b.com instead of tip-b like you guys!

  11. Leanna Lofte says:

    Woot! Way to go Rene!

  12. West says:

I may regret asking this but, ... Howso?

I'm one who criticizes the site now and then, but I try to give the reasons behind my suggests. A vague "integrity" comment doesn't seem to provide much useful feedback.

  13. Joe McG says:

Rene is just an big Apple fan. Nothing wrong with that. I don't see anything he writes that lacks integrity.

You know, you're not going to agree with everything you hear or read, right?

  14. Penny_Case says:

    in·teg·ri·ty [in-teg-ri-tee] –noun

1.adherence to moral and ethical principles; soundness of moral character; honesty. - 100% Not being Honest to Apple(but yet a Apple fan)

2.the state of being whole, entire, or undiminished: to preserve the integrity of the empire. - Could of been by being a fan but lacks the Whole part

3.a sound, unimpaired, or perfect condition: - Perfect Condition wouldnt be Jail Broken becuz for you to bring back to Apple you would have to restore it to Perfect Conditon.

  15. Penny_Case says:

Ok, so if he is such a big Apple fan or true Apple fan then why Jail Break his Apple Devices. Thats what I mean by integrity. This is a professional blog but yet he does not stay true to Apple because if he was such a big fan he wouldn't JB and change there Product. This site needs to clean up and get rid of all the Jail Break Material and Post(but i'm sure that would cripple there traffic to site) Ads and all. Then Restore all there devices and stay tru to apple, since this is support to be a true Apple blog. Also don't jump band wagon over to Verizon the second it comes out. Like I said, this site need Integrity and it would be perfect.

  16. Penny_Case says:

Sorry west, Integrity to me would be being honest to Apple since your a fan and not Jail Break your device. I don't think he is using his Morals by hacking his iPhone and that bothers me alot because I like this site alot. If I didn't care I wouldn't say anything.

  17. Jake says:

Sorry, but what you're saying doesn't even make sense. First of all, watch your grammar, it's a pain to read your comments.

More importantly, you quote dictionary definitions for "integrity" talking about this blog and then say it's not perfect condition if your iPhone is jailbroken in case you have to bring it back to Apple?! What are you talking about, the blog or an iPhone? That's two different pairs of shoes. Seriously, there is so many serious blogs about Apple out there, why make yet another boring one that doesn't provide a special hint every now and then. It's everyone's free decision to jailbreak or not to. I am glad I've gotten some nice hints and tweaks from this blog. Go TiPb!
