Apple boasts 62% tablet market share, 17 million iPads sold between April and June

Today at Apple's big event in San Francisco, Tim Cook talked about how well the iPad is doing. 84 million units have been sold through June, with 17 million sold between April and June. This works out to 68% tablet market share, which is certainly down from the massive lead iPad had in the early days, but still up from 62% at the same time last year.

Anyone surprised to see the iPad continue to dominate the world of tablets? There's still a lot more to come from today's iPhone 5 event! Stick around!
