New "Universal Bumpers" now fit Verizon iPhone, available at Apple Stores?

Alerio shared his video with us, showing what looks like a new "Universal Bumper" designed to fit both the existing GSM/AT&T iPhone and the new CDMA/Verizon iPhone with its slightly redesigned antenna and downward-shifted volume controls.

Just wanted to share a video of the new Universal Bumper for the Verizon and AT&T iPhone 4. Picked one up today at my local Apple store!

He says the differences aren't many but they were enough that Apple's old bumpers wouldn't fit. The TiPb iPhone Accessory Store is keeping their own list of compatible Verizon iPhone cases (yeah, cheap plug!) but its good to see Verizon iPhone buyers will have some additional choices available come February 10.

Video after the break!

The cutout isn't just longer. It appears to narrower too, which may not be good for fat fingers.

appreciated if there is available.

Check 1:26 in the video - the dock connector opening is larger too. Finally it will accept aftermarket charging cables! I wonder if the headphone jack opening is larger as well. Can't tell from the video.

Let´s hope we see that in Denmark soon :-)

I wonder if this version of the bumper will be less prone to scratching the metal band of the iPhone 4.
