Xcode 6 beta hints at multiple iPhone screen sizes for developers

Xcode 6 menu

The beta of Xcode 6 has more than just Swift integration, and one observant developer has found support for multiple free-form resolutions for iPhone apps. While this will help developers support both the 3.5-inch and 4-inch models we currently have, we're pretty confident that what this really means we'll be seeing an even bigger screen on the iPhone 6. What we don't yet know is the actual size or the resolution, other than rumors and leaks.

Split-screen on iPads.
4.7" iPhone (with rounded back edges, like iPads).
Yes, please.

Rene commented on MBW that Apple thinks people want split-screen to move data between apps, I want it so I can watch a video AND browse / socialize.
