The seventh-generation iPod Touch offers new, more powerful internals over its predecessors while keeping the same form factor, colors, and cameras. Capable of using most of the latest features in iOS 12, it's a great entry-level iOS device that will let you rock out to your favorite tunes wherever you take it. Of course, you'll need to keep your iPod touch charged up, and there are many great stands you can use as a home base when you're not on the go!
Lightning cable included
This simple stand will keep your iPod charging and upright making it easy to use while on the stand. It comes with a Mfi lightning cable that's 4-feet long, making it easy to find a good spot on your desk, nightstand, or table.
Simple and affordable
With multiple viewing angles and a hole in the back to run your charging cable through, the Lamicall stand is a great way to keep your iPod touch accessible. Plus, its made of metal, so it won't fall over if you accidentally bump it.
This tall metal stand places your iPod touch on a charging port a few inches of the desk or surface you have it standing on, creating a tower of technology that looks superb and unique. Don't worry about the height causing any instability because the stand weighs about a pound. It's sturdy enough to stay standing tall.
2-in-1 charging stand
Not only are you able to charge your iPod touch 7, but you also have the option to charge your Apple Watch, making this a sort of 2-in-1 wonder-dock! The only downside is that you have to provide all your own charging cables and cords.
Charge your headphones too
If you're listening to your iPod with AirPods, get yourself a stand that can charge your iPod, Apple Watch, and AirPods at the same time. OLEBR's All-in-One Charging Station features an iPhone/iPod dock, an Apple Watch dock, and a dock to hold your AirPods and AirPods case. Note that no Lightning cables are included. This dock is made of polished aluminum and comes in black, rose gold, space gray, and silver
One cable simplicity
The Belkin Powerhouse Charge Dock is one of the most elegant solutions for charging your iPhone/iPod and Apple Watch at the same time. The best part is you only need one cord to power both the Lightning connector for your iPhone and the magnetic charger for the Apple Watch. Plus, the Lightning connector can be adjusted in height, meaning even if you have a heavy-duty case, you'll be able to charge your iPod no problem.
A few suggestions
Why you can trust iMore Our expert reviewers spend hours testing and comparing products and services so you can choose the best for you. Find out more about how we test.
The iPod Touch 7 is the latest and greatest entry-level Apple device on the market, and you're, of course, going to need to keep it charged up. Since Apple uses Lightning connectors, you'll need specific charging accessories. We recommend the Avantree Charging Stand (opens in new tab) because it comes with a Mfi Lightning cable, allowing you to use your other charging cable somewhere else. Two cables are always better than one.
If you want a charging stand that is as striking as it is functional, look no further than the Twelve South HiRise Deluxe (opens in new tab). Not only does it comes with a lightning cable, but also a micro USB cable, meaning you can charge all sorts of devices, not just your iPod.
Also, having a stand that gives you a place to charge your Apple Watch is pretty convenient. The Spigen wooden stand (opens in new tab) is a great stand that also has grooves for cable management.
