Best USB-C battery packs and power banks for the iPad Pro (2018)

The new iPad Pros charge via USB-C and ship with a USB-C to USB-C cord. The power bank or battery pack you've used to charge your previous iPads aren't going to work for your new iPad Pro if they don't have a USB-C port. You'll need a battery that's both powerful enough for an iPad Pro and has a USB-C port. If you already own a power bank for your USB-C enabled MacBook (or MacBook Pro), you're all set. If it charges a MacBook, it'll charge your new iPad Pro as well. Here are some of the best USB-C compatible battery packs and power banks.
Trusted brand
This 19,500mAh battery provides rapid charging rates up to 30W, so you can charge your new iPad Pro and your iPhone or older iPad at the same time. Yes, it's pricey, but it's a trusted brand that you can purchase at your local Apple Store.
Multi-use charger
This one has a Quick Charge 3.0 input and output, USB-C input and output, and regular USB output. So, you can charge quite a number of different electronic devices with this 20100mAh power bank including your new iPad Pro.
More options
RAVPower also makes this 27000mAh power bank that has a USB-C port for your iPad Pro, two USB ports for your other iOS devices, and a 3-prong AC output so you can power just about any 110V home appliance up to 100W: a fan, a vacuum cleaner, lights, and more.
Simple option
With two USB ports and one USB-C port, this 20100mAh portable battery can charge two iOS devices at the same time it charges your new iPad Pro.
More power
At 26800mAh, this is a more powerful version of Anker's PowerCore+. It has one USB-C port and two USB ports. Unlike most power banks which only come with cables, this bundle comes with the 30W wall charger as well.
The monster
At 36000mAh, this one tops the list for sheer power. It has two USB ports and one USB-C for your iPad Pro.
You can't go wrong with any of these, but my personal recommendation would be the Anker PowerCore+ Portable Charger Bundle (opens in new tab). I like that it comes with a wall charger. After all, the battery needs charging too.
