Bang & Olufsen partners with David Lynch for a special edition speaker collaboration

Many people know of David Lynch thanks to his brilliant works on screen, from Mulholland Drive to Twin Peaks, but what many aren't aware of is that he's also a talented and accomplished contemporary artist. Today, Bang & Olufsen is unveiling an exclusive collaboration with Lynch featuring a selection of special edition speakers with designs and images taken from his "War Between the Shapes" series and "Paris Suite" lithographs.
The collection will consist of limited designs on B&O's Beoplay M5 wireless home speaker and the BeoPlay P2 portable Bluetooth speaker which are now available at B&O's website for $750 and $200 respectively. Though you're getting an exclusive design with your purchase, you're also paying a bit more for it. Standard editions can be found of the M5 speaker starting at $595 via Amazon, while the BeoPlay P2 is available for as low as $134. The exclusive editions are set to become available via other retailers soon.
B&O is rounding out the collection with a few limited A9 Wireless Speakers, of which only five will be made available. No price has been announced yet, and it will only be available via the Bang & Olufsen x David Lynch pop-up at the MoMA Design Store in Soho through November 11. At Amazon, the standard version of this speaker is currently priced at $2,699, so you can likely expect to pay a few hundred dollars above that price at least.
