Own an original iPad and want to know how to enable video mirroring, just like iPad 2 offers? While this feature is not supported on the original iPad, with the release of the iOS 4.3.1 untethered jailbreak you can now add the display mirroring feature. We'll tell you how after the break!

Mirroring allows you to view exactly what is displayed on your iPad screen on a TV or projector; you will need an Apple Digital AV Adaptor or VGA Adaptor to connect to your TV.
Jailbreak your iPad on iOS 4.3.1
Modify system files as follows:
Navigate to system/library/coreservices/springboard.app;
Download the K48AP.plist file on your computer;
Add the string “display-mirroring boolean YES” and make sure the file looks like the image below:
Upload the modified file back to the iPad (you can use an app like Cyberduck for this, and make sure OpenSSH is installed on the iPad), restart the device;
- Enjoy your display mirroring!
