iMore weekly photo contest: Summer fun!

It's summer time and that means beaches, bikinis, cookouts, fishing, boating, and more. And this week's photo contest will cover exactly these things! Grab your iPhone, get out there, and show us what you do to keep cool in the summer whether it's lounging on the beach, boating with friends, or enjoying a barbecue with family.
Anything summer related counts but make sure your entry stands out from everyone else's by using all the iPhoneography tips we've given you guys over the years.
The contest begins today and ends Tuesday, July 16th, at 10pm Eastern time.
It's also time to announce the winner of last week's photo contest! And the winner is...
iMike44! He took the above photo with his iPhone 4S using Kitcam and then continued the editing process with Camera+. The thing that really caught my eye was the good use of rule of thirds as well as how he really managed to make the sky pop while balancing out the flag well.
Congrats Mike! We'll be contacting you soon to collect your prize!
- Camera+, $1.99 - [Download Now](http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/camera?at=10l3Vy&ct=UUimUdUnU19263 /id329670577?mt=8&at=10l3Vy&ct=d_im)
Unfortunately Kitcam was acquired by Yahoo! and recently pulled from the App Store, or we'd provide you with a link to download it. It made us sad too since it was one of our favorite alternative camera apps for iPhone.
And without any further delay, here are the details on this week's photo contest!
The prize: iStabilizer Dolly for iPhone
Aside from a thumbs up from the entire iMore crew, this week will be giving away an iStabilizer Dolly for iPhone which will help you capture sweeping panoramas and cinematic video shots like the pros. The iStabilizer Dolly will allow you to use any flat surface to stabilize your iPhone in order to create great looking movies or panos with less room for error.
Not only does it fit virtually any iPhone, but any other smartphone and even some professional cameras as well.
The rules
Submitted photos must have been taken with an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.
We'll check the EXIF data of the original file to verify and any edits must have been done with an iPhone or iPad app. No Photoshop, Lightroom, or other external editing programs! If you have external lens accessories such as an Olloclip or other snap-on lens, you are more than welcome to use them.
You can submit as many photos as you'd like, but remember, this is a contest, so make sure you submit your best work!
Resources
Now, before you run off to take your photo, remember that it's not technical skill alone that will claim this prize. Even if you're not the best photographer (yet!), a great eye and a great subject can still get you the win.
However, a little help can never hurt, so make sure you check out our iPhone photography series for some tips.
How to submit
Submitting your photos is easy. just head over to the iMore Photography Forum and post your photos to the official contest thread. Don't forget to state which apps, if any, you used to edit your photo!
That's it! Now go out and shoot!
