This high-capacity desktop G-Drive is designed to be used in a stationary setup with an aluminum enclosure that will match your desktop Mac. The AC-powered drive features data transfer rates of up to 245 MB/s and a rotational speed of 7200 rpm, both of which allow for quick file access and fast data transfer speeds. It supports USB 3.0 and comes with a USB 3.0 cable, though it is backwards compatible with USB 2.0 too. It's formatted for macOS out of the box and would work great with Time Machine for backups. Alternatively, you could reformat the drive for use with Windows.
