Final Fantasy I and II Coming to iPhone

Square Enix has announced that Final Fantasy I and Final Fantasy II, the classic RPGs that started the blockbuster franchise, are coming to the iPhone and iPod touch.

No release date yet, but stay tuned. More pics after the break!

    This is such good news. I love the originals - and playing them on the iPhone will be awesome.

    @Ben, I agree that there are some great concepts on the iphone, and many that would be worth playing if they had better control options. I have paid for a few of the better ones and demoed quite a few more, and none have been playable for longer periods of time.

    I just hope that they go fully 'tap to move' controls and not a dpad on screen interface like some RPG's for the iPhone.
