Fruit Ninja developer makes all of their games free for a limited time

Halfbrick Studios, the developer behind games like Fruit Ninja and Jetpack Joyride, have made all of their games free for a limited time. All nine titles published by Halfbrick since 2010 are part of the promotion, including their latest title, Birzzle Fever.

GameLoop launches social network for gamers on iOS

Anybody remember Heyzap? It was a social networking app for gamers that allowed users to socialize about games and discover new games. The Heyzap team recently pulled its iOS app however, switching focus to their targeted ad SDK. That pretty much left Raptr as the only social networking app for Apple gamers.

Now a new player has entered the field: GameLoop. The GameLoop app is free and allows users to discuss the games they enjoy while also discovering new games to play. With the ability to detect all of your iOS, Xbox, Playstation, and Steam games, GameLoop is poised to be a serious and more mobile-focused competitor for Raptr. Read on for full details!

Spider-Man Unlimited webslinging onto iOS this September

Spider-Man Unlimited was the last mobile game we checked out at E3 2014. This endless runner features the friendly neighborhood webslinger we all know and love in a familiar format. Players swipe left, right, up, and down to dodge obstacles and lay the smack down on whatever baddies you happen upon. Webslinging mini-games shift perspective in a way similar to Gameloft's other popular runner, Despicable Me: Minion Rush. With one-touch controls during these sequences, you've got to time your releases so you get through certain target zones.
