iMore show 328: Wasted pixels


On wasted pixels: It seems odd to say "That display is amazing!" in reference to the Droid DNA but then later discuss how the pixels are wasted because you can't see the pixels or feel that the overall experience isn't dramatically enhanced. That's like saying that the Porsche 911 is fantastic to drive but the horsepower is wasted because the speed limit is 60. Clearly if your eyes are telling you that the display is super duper then the pixels are not "wasted".

Other displays with lower pixel density might be "good enough" but that doesn't mean that higher pixel density (and other display technology enhancements) are wasteful. It's all in the use case, folks!
