Classic board game, Settlers of Catan, is already available in digital form for iPhone and iPad players, and now it has finally made the jump to the Mac. Catan, released today in the Mac App Store, comes complete with expansion packs Seafarers and Cities & Knights, 3D graphics, Game Center integration and a maps editor to create your own worlds.
Catan was developed in conjunction with the designer of the original board game, and promises gameplay true to the original. The iOS version of the game is pretty good, and though the Mac version is a little more expensive, it does open it up to playing on a much larger display. If you happen to pick it up, be sure to come back and tell us your first thoughts.
