The first Angry Birds movie trailer deals with managing irritation

The Angry Birds game franchise from Rovio may not be as popular as it was a couple of years ago, but that isn't stopping Sony from launching a big-budget CGI animated Angry Birds movie. The first trailer from the upcoming movie has been released, and it offers some back story on those birds and why they are so angry in the first place.

The trailer focuses on Red, a bird who doesn't seem to get along with his fellow avians, let allow an intruding pig who shows up in his neighborhood to stir things up. There are a couple of funny moments in this trailer, and it does boast an all-star voice cast with Jason Sudeikis as Red, along with Josh Gad, Danny McBride and more. Hopefully the full movie will be an entertaining family film when it debuts in theaters on May 20, 2016.
